Steve Schmidt was born in North Plainfield, New Jersey, where he was an Eagle Scout, a member of the high school team, and a member of the National Honor Society for two years and was also a senior vice president.
Career and education
Details about his parents are very scarce. However, his father was a telecommunications executive while his mother was a teacher. He was among the few voted most likely to succeed in 1988 by his classmates at North Plainfield High School.
He didn't pass in math and later revealed that he had been diagnosed with a learning disability that made it difficult to read and understand higher math.
