The Martin Artisans Guild is exhibiting “Spring Forward,” a showcase of member artists’ works now through June 25 in the Palm Room Art Gallery. The exhibition kicked off in quintessential Martin Artisans Guild fashion with an opening reception on May 4. Guests toured among works by 15 local professional artists and had the opportunity to meet the creatives, while enjoying live music, appetizers, and a cash bar.

Cimarron Yancy Wolfe, 38, shot two kids dead before killing himself, cops say
Two children have been killed in an apparent murder-suicide perpetrated by a career criminal who was father to one of them.
Cimarron Yancy Wolfe, 38, was found dead of a gunshot wound on Thursday outside Houston alongside the bodies of his daughter Sarah Wolfe, eight, and her half-brother Phillip Bernal, 12.
Wolfe was the father of Sarah and was possibly the stepfather of Phillip, though his relationship to the boy is not entirely clear.

Describing Haydn as one of the most underrated geniuses in the classical world, Joo says he wants to draw out and enhance the humorous and theatrical aspects of the Austrian composer’s works and make them more accessible to today’s audiences.
“We [know] that Haydn is one of the most important composers and the father of symphony, but the reality is, he is not given the credit he deserves,” says Joo in a Zoom call from Vienna, Austria.
