Perez Hilton introduces new baby Mia Alma Lavandeira to the world
Perez Hilton has become a father for the second time, welcoming a baby daughter on May 9.
The gossip columnist shared the happy news with his readers on Monday by uploading an adorable snapshot of himself tenderly holding the new baby's tiny foot.
Later on the same day, the 37-year-old single father revealed that the new baby was a girl named Mia Alma Lavandeira.

Mia was - like Perez's first son Mario, born in 2013 - conceived via surrogate after what the blogger described as a 'difficult' journey.
He added that the new baby was a 'blessing' to his growing family.
Like her birth, Mia's name and gender were announced via Instagram, this time with a photo showing the newborn's footprints on a birth-announcement card.

Later social-media postings showed Mia as she was being introduced to her grandmother and big brother.
'#MommaPerez is in heaven!!' Perez captioned a photo posted on Friday, showing his mother cradling the little girl in her arms.
A photo posted on Wednesday showed a similarly happy reaction from Mario after the two-year-old boy met his baby sister.

Perez added a video to his photos as well, and posted one on Thursday in which he pretended to bite his newborn's feet due to the cuteness.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star took to his website Perezhilton.com to write: 'It is with great pride and relief that I can finally announce: I am a dad again!'
'The road to this birth has been a difficult journey, quite different from the first time, and my son and I are overjoyed at this happy and healthy addition to our family.'
'Every child is a blessing and this Mother's Day was extra blessed for me and my mother!'
